In today's digital age, fostering genuine social connections is challenging. Our innovative installation addresses this by offering participants shared control of a walk-up-and-use interface, engaging them with digital content while fostering co-presence and collaboration
Central to the installation are fabric projection screens requiring multiple users to lift them, ensuring focused animations. Accelerometers on each screen create a puzzle-like activity, revealing composite images as participants interact.
Our observations suggest promise for fostering conviviality, though the interaction may be complex for casual users. By blending digital engagement with social connection, our installation pioneers interactive experiences that unite people.
